SaladeArteSocial.COM opens with Daniel G. Andújar its programme Small Data: small monuments of net art, interventions by international pioneers of net art created specifically for this digital space founded and curated by the team PSJM. This first intervention is supported by the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sport.

SaladearteSocial.COM grows with Daniel G. Andújar’s Small Data Laboratory, a research group hosted by the young digital space that explores the relationships between artists, between artists and public based on Tate Modern’s database. The Small Data Laboratory provides interactive graphic animation and information to the users. An aesthetic experience pierced by information. In a way, this laboratory is a project of institutional critique that explores, uses, and unveils the way how algorithms of individuation separate the wheat from the chaff in mountains of big data. The Small Data means the self-interested customisation of Big Data information.

Opening: On March 24th (18:30 Canary Islands time) Daniel G. Andújar will present the laboratory and its productions at the opening to be held on ZOOM (ID: 597 229 2015 / Passcode: SmallData), allowing the attending public to participate in the debate. The event will be simultaneously broadcast on the YouTube channel of SaladeArteSocial.COM (https://rb.gy/jxwx45).

Lecture: On March 26th (18:30 Canary Islands time) the artist and theorist will give a lecture via YouTube on the SaladeArteSocial.COM channel (https://rb.gy/jxwx45).
